  • glass containers
  • utensils

Ingredients

  • Greek yogurt (1-2 cups)
  • Canned tuna or salmon (1-2 cans)
  • Cottage cheese (1 cup)
  • Deli turkey or rotisserie chicken (8 oz)
  • Hard-boiled eggs (pre-cooked, 6-8 eggs)
  • Cherry tomatoes (2 cups)
  • Cucumber (1-2)
  • Bell peppers (2)
  • Shredded carrots (1 cup)
  • Spinach or arugula (2 cups)
  • Avocado (1-2)
  • Red onion (1 small)
  • Hummus, salsa, pesto, or tahini dressing
  • Olive oil and lemon juice
  • Mustard and hot sauce
  • Olives and nuts
  • Whole grain bread or lettuce wraps
  • Granola and berries (optional)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prep Your Protein Base - Use store-bought rotisserie chicken or deli turkey, drain canned tuna or salmon well, scoop Greek yogurt or cottage cheese into containers, or slice pre-cooked hard-boiled eggs.
  • Step 2: Wash and Chop Vegetables - Rinse cherry tomatoes, chop cucumbers and bell peppers, slice carrots, and prepare leafy greens. Aim for rough cuts ready to eat.
  • Step 3: Build Flavor Profile - Mix your protein base with dressing of choice. Combine tuna with Greek yogurt and lemon, turkey with mustard and mayo, or cottage cheese with everything bagel seasoning and hot sauce. Taste as you go.
  • Step 4: Assemble and Layer - Place vegetables in container first, then layer protein mixture on top to prevent sogginess. For wraps, spread protein base on lettuce or bread, add fresh vegetables, and roll tightly.
  • Step 5: Store Smart - Use glass containers with tight lids. Most no-cook meals last 4 to 5 days in refrigerator. Assemble wraps the night before or morning of eating to prevent sogginess.

Notes

Buy pre-cooked proteins when possible to save time. Store vegetables and dressings separately if using wraps to prevent sogginess overnight.
